Quality Inn

Had car issues on way home from Northern Maine. To MA. Just made it off the highway. Lady at front desk was so nice n helpful. I believe it was Valery n Mia. Really made a stressful time more calmer for me n my wife. Great people at front desk. Room was very clean n modern. Bed was so comfy. We soaked in the hot tub then relaxed in the pool. Place is very well kept. Saw grounds worker out constantly keeping the outside nice n clean safe area. 2 time stayed at Quality Inn in the last month and both places where above average clean and comfortable. And breakfast. Better then most places I've been to. The homemade waffles are the best. Plus a smorgasbord of other breakfast foods.

This is one of those times you need to splurge. This place needs a complete overhaul. There is a musty smell on the first floor where breakfast is served. The lobby bathroom has that “old bathroom smell”. (It’s in desperate need of a power wash.) The lounge chairs are grimy. We were first assigned Room 428 and it smelled like yeasty body odor. The receptionist explained that the shower curtains remain wet after the bathroom is cleaned which causes the room to smell. (So, they do not replace the shower curtains when people leave.) Also, sometimes “people leave food in the refrigerator which [they] can’t help.”(So, they don’t have proper cleaning solutions.) We were then given Room 520 which was slightly better. She assured us it would get better once we turned on the AC. (It did.) They offered us ice cream for our inconvenience. (No, thank you — who knows how old that is?) There is mold in the bathtub, grout and shower trim. Thankfully, there is a Rite Aid right next door where we promptly purchased Lysol spray and room deodorizer. The shower head is at the perfect height if you are 5’ 0” or smaller. If you have back problems, come with an alternate driver. (The beds have no back support.) Sure, the grounds are well kept but there are barely any grounds to keep. There is no view nor are there outdoor spaces to escape your dreary room. You may be better off at a motel — at least you get what you expect there.
